South West Attractions
Attractions include Australian beaches, fresh water and forests, lush pastures, rolling green hills and abundant produce in Australia’s South West.
These are the perennial features of Australia’s South West. Our land is clean and green, abounding with nature’s goodness. Our attitude is dynamic and friendly — a lifestyle we are happy to share. Harvey, known as ‘The Best Tree Change Town Destination for Western Australia’ and one of the top three for Australia, is a place to breathe deeply and relax.
Stroll in the shady jarrah forest or spend an afternoon scooping blue swimmer crabs. Visit the Featured Wood Gallery & Museum or relax on one of the five beaches. Tour the mosaics and murals and call in at the Moo Shoppe. Choose a bottle from an award-winning winery, or try Old Coast Road Brewery beer and Harvey cheese. The directory’s places to stay can accommodate 1861 people, from romantic getaways and farmstays to bed and breakfasts, caravan parks and camping.
Visit the Harvey Shire and you will discover that it really is “A Breath of Fresh Air”.
