Collie has played a very strategic role in the development of WA. This publication features 200 places of interest which vary in signifance from those worthy of National or State recognition, to the more humble sites from bygone eras of local interest.

This book also recognises Collie’s importance on the National stage with its vital contribution in times of duress such as war, financial depression and displaced persons re-settlement; or in areas of recognition such as indigenous reconciliation.
