Designed by artist Noah Birch, born in America in 1969. Emigrated to Australia in 2002.
Noah is an artist who has always worked with his hands. He originally worked as a
carpenter, and then as a construction foreman in America. The practical skills and
knowledge developed during his employment have contributed a great deal to
Noah’s career as an artist.
After moving to Australia Noah completed an Advanced Diploma in Industrial
Design through Tafe in Perth. Since completing his diploma, Noah has worked as
an industrial designer, both through contract work and independent work.
Noah has previously worked with the Sculpture by the Sea team as a valuable
member of the Site Crew. We welcome him back this year as an exhibiting artist.
Noah’s work hardscape is a response to man’s unbalanced world view.
