Oranges – There are claims to say that the white pith of an orange is as high in cancer-fighting and anti-aging bioflavonoids as green tea, red wine and garlic. Bioflavinoids are at their most potent when consumed with vitamin C, making your humble orange the perfect healthy snack.

Navel oranges are primarily used for eating, as the skin is thick and easier to peel than a common orange.  They are very popular because of their use as an eating orange, their widespread distribution, and their long growing season.

Valencia Oranges are a great source of vitamin C and a good source of folic acid and fibre.

Navels, valencias, mandarins and lemons are grown in Harvey, Western Australia. The south-west region has a temperate Mediterranean climate, suitable soils and availability of good quality, irrigation water which favours the production of quality, flavoured and well coloured citrus.
